Pros

Opportunity to do what you are paid to do, believe or create a unique experience for users, while being severely underpaid.

Cons

Inability for correct direction with helpful and or learning abilities to create a platform that can sustain users or anyone, and all ideas are rejected

There are obvious reasons the author of this absurd post is aptly named "former" employee, or possibly a competitor. Certainly a waste of our time to respond, but we will defend our "current" employees and their amazing accomplishments and efforts to make a difference. Move on, we have.

Pros

I have 20+ years, working with development teams in some of the leading industries including Financial, Healthcare, and Insurance. I have worked with larger, slow-paced, companies and fast-paced startups. What drives this company to be the best is the employees that work here. They are the most committed, hardest working group I have ever worked with. Everyone has a role to play and everyone enjoys the freedom to be as creative in that role as they can be. This is a fantastic place for anyone looking to meet new challenges, learn new technology, get experience working in a fast pace environment and be part of a team producing groundbreaking ecosystem.

Cons

This is a fast pace environment and there are constant challenges that must be force you to step up and solve. This is not the type of environment for anyone looking for a free ride.

Pros

The industry is interesting. Generally the technology you get to work with is up to date. CEO is very smart in his field.

Cons

Unless you are a yes man/woman, an industry expert on day one and can read minds, you will not last here long. The employees are expected to work through their lunches, work 8+ hour days, and deal with getting screamed at on a regular basis. Meanwhile, the CEO comes in a few days a week for a few hours. Pay is below the industry standard, and CEO regularly shows off his latest large purchase. In the time I was there, 2/3 of my department quit or were fired. I was hired, unknowingly to train my superior how to do their job since they were thrust into a position they were underqualified for. Once they felt sufficiently trained, my position was no longer needed. Not a place I'd want to work and not a place I'd recommend. There used to be more reviews on here but the company changed its name and was thus able to hide and ultimately remove them. It has strongly pushed for current employees to give positive reviews. I know this because when working there, I remember being threatened to do so.

These are mostly false accusations although yes, we do expect 8 hour work days for full-time positions and additional time if there's more work to be done. There's always someone hiding under the cloak of anonymity looking to sabotage a great company. The Volute team is tremendous. They are smart, hard-working and understand what it takes to build a world class product. We have some of the brightest people in the field from our employees, board of directors, investors and advisors. The CEO continues to put everything on the line for this company and he's one of the hardest working people you'll meet. We invest in the people who contribute to help us make history.
