They don’t follow their own processes, actually very few were in place. They managed to get rid of the very few people of colour working there. If you’re a person of colour working there, get ready to get laughed at because your accent is different and yelled at just because they can get away with it. Never been in a company this bad, people of colour are treated poorly and given no opportunity or room to progress and express themselves. And they’re only likely to hire in roles where they cannot afford to discriminate so tech jobs. No diversity and inclusion, just ignorant group of people who would hire you for your skills and spend their time hoping they were back in the 1900s. No manager and employee relationship, assuming now is because manager was clearly British so didn’t bother to establish anything. The good reviews must be from British people as they’re treated well and respected clearly it reflect here. It’s a company full of British people so expect racism of some sort if you’re directly in line with them as far as meetings and tasks go
The job itself - I’ve never seen a company with this bad level data, and they’re the ones creating it. Bypassing processes, etc., They do not understand anything in data so do not hire properly and tasks aren’t allocated well either. They don’t understand the skills, knowledge around it so do not know and refuse to know the difference between analytics, engineering, and science. I would avoid this company if you’re serious of being in the world of data. Well unless you’re an engineer on a contract.
