Pros

Some good employee benefits free internet , power deals, good location.

Cons

I currently work in a Managerial support based position for Vocus NZ n Wellington. There's no easy was to say this but Vocus NZ office especially in Wellington office, has too many bullies in charge, crating a culture of fear in the workplace. I have seen top management use petty personality issues as a means to fire employees/end probation periods unnecessarily in total contravention to employment law and best practise. There has been a revolving door of victims that have unwittingly been caught up in the unprofessional folly of a number of key managerial staff. Of the people that are not fired, many are jumping ship at a rate of knots, escaping the toxic culture. The people that have not been fired yet/pushed out look depressed and stressed out and are prone to following bad behaviour leads from the bullies in key positions. Management bullies are somehow under the radar or I can only assume that this behaviour has support going to the topper most levels. Do not consider working here unless you hear of a major restructure.

Pros

Full Time Work From Home. Company promotes from within so you have opportunities you may not have elsewhere, and are not held back because of age or experience.

Cons

Company pays average for the industry, therefore gets average and below average workers. Company promotes from within which is good for employees that want to gain experience they wouldn't elsewhere, but terrible for everyone else. A lot of important roles are filled by employees who are not fit for the role but the best available option from within.
