Pros

Visit Seattle feels like a big family. Everyone cares about the team, not just as colleagues, but as friends. Lots of opportunities for social outings, networking events, and experiencing the city.

Cons

No opportunity for growth due to size of organization.

Thank you very much for your honest feedback on your experience working at Visit Seattle. It's great to hear that you enjoy the company culture. We also understand the opportunity for growth is limited due to size of our organization, but we are hopeful that will improve as our industry recovers from pandemic. Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Leadership is the problem

Pros

Great team, feels so good to represent the city you love, got to do lots of great stuff before new management rolled in.

Cons

Leadership has switched over in the last few years with a more precious, conservative and cautious approach, and without real vision or heart. Very interested in accolades, but not in producing great work anymore. Top-down in leadership style, which led to a lot of demoralization among the team. DEI has taken a back-burner.
