A sinking ship.....

Pros

Good benefits that are in-line with current trends. Company pays for short term disability insurance which now covers 100% of your salary. This includes maternity leave, as well. Insurance reimburses you for gym membership.

Cons

Lack of leadership, corporate culture, and too many egos. As the saying goes, "too many chiefs, not enough indians." This is true of Vince. There's too many VPs of this, senior VPs of that, senior directors of etc. etc., but they're all useless. Nothing but fancy titles and empty promises. It's a giant revolving door here and the company can't seem to keep it's employees employed because everyone either leaves after a few months, or they're forced out by someone with a fancier title and bigger ego. The company is hemorrhaging money left and right. They brought back the original founders as "consultants" and paid them both beaucoup bucks. They left halfway through their consulting contract. Can you guess why? TOO MANY EGOS. The company's stocks are worth less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks now. Sad to see what was once a great company with a great corporate culture turn into the state of disarray as it is now.

Pros

Clothing allowance, having a reputable brand on your resume

Cons

Overworking is normalized by everyone working ridiculous hours here. Work/life balance is not even an option. There is no ‘life’ while working here. No room for growth. Even at a managerial level, you are doing entry level or even intern level work. So much talent and passion is gone to waste because employees are not given any real responsibilities or decision-making power and spend the majority of their time on menial tasks. They do not value their employees and are not interested in retaining their talent and think employees can easily be replaced. This company is full of people who either get here and are trying to leave or have been here so long they don’t know anything else to leave.

Turnover rate is for a reason

Pros

The clothing allowance is nice- free clothes for super expensive items (they tax you though). Mmmm that's about it

Cons

The expectations here are extremely high & unrealistic! Very mean-girl/guy environment. If you have the word assistant in your title it will be used to its fullest extent. The tasks are so low-level, they sell you on a great position but just be prepared to print papers, put samples away, & clean up (I thought my intern days were done, apparently not). The workload/stress is definitely not worth the money, HR is ZERO help. Their feedback once to me was quote "don't take it personal its just business" when coming to them about how I felt about my position & treatment. I cannot keep up with the turnover rate, someone leaves like every 2 weeks.
