Pros

Interesting projects. Some good coworkers. Nice facility.

Cons

On the surface, Vice looks like it would be an amazing place to work. The reality is far far from amazing. For a company that makes itself out to be the champion of the little guy, they couldn't care less about the little guys who work there. There is rampant sexism, ageism, racism, sexual misconduct, not to mention some of the worst managers in the business. The EPs either treat you like you're invisible, or like you should thank them for allowing you to work incredibly long hours and weekends without compensation. There seems to be no path for promotion, unless you are a man. The only reason no one has sued them for their actions is because most people in TV can't afford to burn a bridge and worry about their reputation.

Pros

It looks great on a resume, the content is alright and you'll probably meet some cool people that will end up being really great friends.

Cons

Where do I begin? Management is HORRIBLE. I repeat, MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. There is no room for growth, unless you're a white male. There is no diversity (LA Office) and HR doesn't care about it at all. LIKE, HR GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO NOT EMPLOY PEOPLE OF COLOR. They treat their employees like slaves. If you have goals, good luck trying to achieve them... it ain't happening. But like I said, it looks good on a resume, so you can leave and achieve those goals else where. Upper management has the tendency to act like middle schoolers/high schoolers. If they don't like someone, they will do EVERYTHING in their power to get rid of them. WORK HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
