Pros

Pay, Benefits and Bonus. Employees are good, hard working people and willing to help but they are so buried in their own train wreck department that you'll still struggle to get timely answers.

Cons

Zero work life balance. No support from management. Total Chaos. Unrealistic expectations. If they paid me 2x or 3x my salary I still would have quit. I lost 20 lbs in 8 months due to the unmanageable amount of work and associated stress.

Pros

Cool technology and fast growing market.....but cooling off already

Cons

Unprofessional cut throat self serving culture. They make up policy and procedures as they go....in order to justify their opportunistic and mercenary actions. Becoming the crappy culture that EMC is notorious for. RUN!

Pros

VCE boasts good compensation and lots of career growth potential. They command a huge marketplace with tremendous upside for those who work in sales. Financial backing from industry juggernauts EMC, Cisco and VMware can provide stability and future viability. As the leader in the converged infrastructure market, VCE is consistently lauded by tech analysts for their many technical innovations, which are proving highly valuable to its customers.

Cons

Poisonous culture, empire building and politics plague VCE. Very few internal activities are straight forward and simple. There is little truth to the suggestion by others here that these challenges are merely hallmarks of a fast-paced, growing startup-like company. We have nothing but half-realized processes and red tape. Most decisions are made in vacuum. Leadership is purely driven by short-term gain--they mortgage the future this awesome company for marketshare and sales now. Efficient and effective communication is the exception. Good products, sheer brute force and many career casualties are what put VCE on the map and always at the expense of its most vital asset, people. Management/leadership style is simply to beat submission out of employees, the ecosystem and even customers. The EMC machine will likely destroy what good remains at VCE.
