Pros

Global exposure and new modern offices

Cons

Toxic environment with blaming and finger pointing attitude between departments. Many unpaid overtime hours, also during weekends. No work/life balance. Niche market that company used to operate has become saturated and company failed to transform. Old-fashioned products and services (relying still on SMS). Senior management has no respect for employees, usually trying to impose with fear. Bad management overall resulted in many lay-offs during 2017 and 2018 (already): employees lose their jobs because of senior management mistakes and bad planning.

Pros

- Upstream is a global leader in mobile marketing, most are great people and your hard work eventually pays out. - Truly global exposure - Good market position

Cons

- The company used to have a skilled and respected CEO up to Q2 2017; now it has a rude and ignorant showman with no respect whatsoever to human values. - Company strategy seems to be in doubt - People are getting burnt out

Pros

- There are people with knowledge. Juniors can benefit & learn. - Nice building - Cool environment to work in that doesn't feel too corporate.

Cons

- The being-part-of-a-big-family-management style is used actually against you to keep your salary low. - The annual review mechanism, your reporting to your manager etc don't have a lot of weight. They are used just to show to the people there IS a serious measurement of monitoring people's performance. In reality, it is going to be used against you to keep your salary low. - The environment doesn't care about toxic behaviors if they make sense financially. Thus, feedback of people is used by management just to know what's going on, not purposeful for the. - Faithfulness is viewed as a weakness. If you stay too long, it will be against your career. - The managers that are long working in the company will use lies to keep your salary low. - No overtime ever paid or compensated in another way
