Pros

At the moment there are very few positives. Employees are hardworking and there is good banter within individual teams but other than that you'd be clutching at straws to try and come up with positives.

Cons

Where to start? Since December 2016 there has been a constant flow of good employees resigning from their positions. This is unsurprising to everyone, it would seem, but the Senior Management Team. Unrealistic deadlines are handed out by management. The CEO never communicates to employees while the COO and CFO dictate with arrogance and constantly change their priorities. There is a weekly interdepartmental meeting which is nothing more than a bullying exercise where fingerprinting is the norm and everything is everyone else's fault. Management are completely out of touch with employees and pay as little as possible, while expecting a ridiculous amount of productivity in return. There are virtually no benefits except for a 10% discount on health insurance policies. Below standard number of annual leave days and no bonuses (except for a yearly gift card worth almost nothing). There is an incredible amount of animosity between departments / companies within the group. The structure of the business is laughable. For such a small company they have managed to make things as complicated as possible. No foresight whatsoever. It feels like we're constantly trying to right the wrongs of previous decisions.

ROTTEN TO THE CORE

Pros

Leaving.

Cons

Pathetic excuse for a company. The Management are possibly the worst human beings I've encountered in my life. They lie, bully, and they've zero respect for employees or evidently themselves. Cheating customers and employees alike is the daily game, unless of course you’re in the click ( grossly underqualified ‘yes’ people who have been strategically ‘promoted’ into made up roles for the sole purpose of being a scape goat should the sewage start to spill) There is so much negative press about this place that once another bad review goes on Glassdoor there are bets around the office to guess who it was – One of the 10 people who left in the last week perhaps? I could go on for pages, but to sum it up - Uniphar is bad for you and rotten to the core.
