Great pay and benefits. Work life balance is very good. Company has been doing an amazing job with the ever changing COVID situation and has done their best to listen to everyone and keep all safe.

Cons

Not really any that I can think of.

Pros

3 day work from home policy and very few coworkers

Cons

So many to choose from. 1. work from home policy. Either it's a benefit or its not 2. Disrespectful leadership. The language. The tone. The profanity......but, its excused because STRAIGHT TALK is a core value. Oh, and STRAIGHT TALK is a oneway barricaded street with armed guards, pitbulls and a tar pit. 3. Playground mentality with thin skinned leadership. 4. CORE VALUES (giggle, short, giggle giggle) 5. Salary = unlimited man hours 6. Accountability (sigh) is a joke. You're giving inaccurate order information YOUR FAULT! You're giving the wrong item to buy YOUR FAULT! You've oversold the forecast because sales didn't provide the proper paperwork or notice YOUR FAULT! A tree falls in the forest YOUR FAULT! 7. EPS. Stop with the "are you happy" survey's. If you have to ask every couple of day you know answer. 8. All service reporting .... don't know who thought that was a good idea. 9. Vacation coverage. You have to find your own coverage and are still held accountable for thing that happened while you were out. That's called Teaming Up. 10. Every department has different metrics and are working against each other instead of ..... wait for it .... Customer First.

Toxic culture

Pros

US Foods is a great brand in the foodservice industry, and they are very forward thinking when it comes to the importance of innovation and marketing.

Cons

Overall, there is a culture of not promoting from within. In particular, senior executive positions are filled with people who are former colleagues of the CEO. When internal people apply for roles, they sometimes don't get the courtesy of a phone screen or even a personal message from the hiring manager that they've been rejected. People are overworked and are never coached for development. No one wants to talk about succession planning or what someone's potential at the company may be. I think it's telling that in the 4 years I've been there, I can't ever remember the name of any of the highest level HR people we have had on the exec team - people are simply not prioritized here. There is also a toxic us vs. them culture that is the field sales organization vs. the corporate office. Very little accountability is encouraged, people tend to make allowances for the field, which empowers them to be rude rather than collaborative.
