Pros

The only pro to this company is the teachers. They are great and work hard.

Cons

The entire staff at headquarters is incompetent. In my entire professional career I have never been spoken down to or treated like dirt.....this was a first. What made the whole thing more insulting is they were unprofessional children who had no idea how to work for a company let alone run one. The amout of childish backstabbing and petty attempts to put others down to move up the ladder is something the CEO should be ashamed of. I'm truly grateful I no longer work there and if I could give any advice it would be to run!

Pros

Mostly flexible hours, you work with games and computers, you're teaching kids who want to learn, jeans and t-shirt dress code, and for the most part you work with chill, intelligent people.

Cons

High expectations and extensive work for low pay and no benefits; room for professional growth is also severely stifled. Disorganized leadership, underdeveloped yet expanding curriculum, little to no/very poor teacher training.

Pros

Great concept and idea of teaching kids to code.

Cons

My brief employment at UCode was the worse working experience of my young adult career. Management does not follow through on several things in the online contract and does not value accomplishments, efforts, or the overtime they naturally expect of you. The headquarters employees have poor social and communication skills and behave very unprofessionally in their treatment to outsiders and one another. The way things are run is highly unorganized. I am astonished that many families actually subject their children to such a poorly run business.
