Pros

- Weak talent pool makes it easy to get promoted. - Constrained and unimaginative work processes make it easy to avoid critical thinking - If you’re not a talented worker, you will mostly be collecting easy checks because management won’t trust you with real work. - If you are favored by the right people, you can get away with anything. - The company is very open to improvement and encouraging growth, but most of these improvements are things that have been an industry standard for years. I.e. 401k match and direct deposit. -Passionate and hard-working ownership

Cons

- You can be overqualified for your position and still be perform poorly because there is little correlation your job title and the actual job you do. - Borderline illegal business practices. Management doesn’t care if asking work related questions off the clock is a sue-able offense. - In order to get lucrative contracts, employees have to fulfill roles on multiple teams for lesser pay. - No room for innovation and heavy bureaucracy - Constant changes in procedure because of small mistakes make it impossible to build consistency. - The bar for quality work is incredibly low. Training guides could be done by high schoolers with the most basic Microsoft Office skills. - Growth is only good within the company. The skills you learn at Turner only apply to Turner because their business efficiency and internal tools are something you’d see in an office from the 90s. - Bad benefits. Improved, but bad. - A lot of backstabbing, egos, and office politics that are outright ignored. - Heavy favoritism. If you’re liked, you can walk all over managers. - Some managers have little to no management skills. - Knowing office politics is an encouraged and rewarded skill. - If you work on a holiday, it is not overtime. - No one is passionate about the company or the work they do. Leadership does nothing about this. There is very little pride in working for this company.

Pros

Good for new comers to IT to get some a experience in IT. It's a job.

Cons

Don't know many place calling themselves and IT company, which still pay their employees with a live check. (Ever heard of direct deposit?) Very little opportunity for advancement unless you are one of the manager's pets. Management staff have little experience or knowledge. It is a basically a mom & pops business.
