Pros

I met/worked with some great nurses and techs. Unfortunately, they have all resigned or are seeking employment elsewhere. It's very sad what has happened to this hospital.

Cons

The CEO loves to hear himself talk which, unfortunately for him, lands him in alot of exposed lies. The CCO is a modern-day servant to the CEO. He does not have an original idea of his own. All his thoughts and opinions are given to him by the CEO and this will eventually be his demise. Employee paychecks are routinely incorrect and no effort is made to correct them until the next payday. Insurance is going up yet again. The issues at TrustPoint go way beyond "not enough staff" or "management doesn't care." Patient care doesn't even rank here.

Pros

So let me start out by saying that I am a former employee only because I am moving into the area of medicine that I will be focusing on throughout my career. My time here trustpoint has been extremely valuable. While here I experienced a level of professionalism and understanding from management that is rare. There will always be opportunity at any position to complain, but I say to those that decide to go that route that they should focus more on innovation in the workplace by bringing your opinions to management in a professional manner. Communicate your ideas for bettering the workplace instead of complaining with your colleagues on how management isn't doing their jobs. I for one felt excited that I was a part of a growing hospital that is still new and when I approached management with my ideas, they were validated and respected. The pros of trustpoint include the willingness to try new things, the constant growth for staff, patients , and additions to the practice, and a real desire to create an environment that will benefit the patients healing process. I am looking forward to hearing about the new exciting things that are coming to trustpoint in the near future, I can only say that I am saddened that I won't be a part of it. To Tyler and Jeffrey, keep doing what you're doing and let the naysayers go without hesitation. To all of the families that have loved ones here, please note of it that your family and friends are in great hands with a staff that has been called to serve. There are big things happening for 2015. Thank you again for the opportunity to be a part of your team.

Cons

The only con that I would say about trustpoint is that there is a minority culture of employees that will never be satisfied anywhere they go, so they complain which can, at times, bring a negative morale to the workplace.

Pros

Their are absolutely no pros to working here.

Cons

Why would you want to get paid to be assaulted. The CEO cared more about the numbers and a bonus for himself than having enough staff. Many nights he would force us to work with four people to a floor. Nurses calling from their own cell phone trying to get help from anyone at the hospital because they were trapped in a room with violent patient. Staff assaults happened way to much and not addressed. I have seen assaults to staff and was assaulted and I will never be able to work again due to my injuries. If you value your life don’t work here, you have been warned. The Doctors are so rude to the staff. Hope that you don’t need to call the M.D. at night because you will be belittled.
