It used to be great. It's a skeleton of the place it once was.

Pros

It used to be the people but most of them are gone now. I enjoyed the relationships with clients, but when I realized service was no longer a priority and employees didn't matter, I knew it was time to go.

Cons

Zero communication. Most recently exec management started sending communication messages in cartoon videos. It was insulting. There is a serious lack of leadership. Too many chiefs. And the people in top leadership have no experience managing or running a company of that size and it shows. There are some excellent people who would do a much better job running the company but they are shunned if they pipe up or have an opinion. There's a 5 person HR department but no one knows what they do and morale couldn't be worse. Someone quits or gets fired every day. Straight from the CEO, "it's refreshing to get new people in with better ideas." In other words they don't care the turnover is 20 times higher than it has been in the history of the company. They also shun you when you give notice, like you are a terrible person. You're not allowed to disagree or leave for better opportunities. It's a very strange place. But again, most of the leadership is inexperienced and never worked anywhere else so they have no idea that isn't normal.

Disaster of a Company

Pros

My Co-workers are great and there is some flexibility.

Cons

Ownership and Leadership are a joke. Turnover is extremely high. The fact that we still have clients is amazing to me. They had to lay people off because they are running out of money. There is absolutely no training for new people and management wonders why client retention is low. I will be shocked if this company is around in another year.

Skeletons in the Closet

Pros

Very work-life balance friendly, a Family Leave Policy and generous company events.

Cons

For what appears to be a thriving company, there are some very serious problems when you look behind the doors. Mismanagement of funds and a lack of communication from the leadership down has lead to MANY people either leaving or their roles being eliminated in the last couple of months. The level of entitlement that reeks from some departments is sickening. And the leadership does nothing to address it. Benefits are great for a single person but the family plans etc. are impossible. You'd be working just to pay for insurance in some cases. They say they live by a strict pledge that "drives and guides them." However, it's nothing more than words on paper when the senior leadership themselves won't abide by it. Certain difficult employees are kept happy by any means necessary rather than resolving issues diplomatically (ie let the trouble makers go!)
