Pros

Company has potential to grow Great Christmas parties Unlimited Time Off policy

Cons

Company only sells Annuities and Life Insurance, although they would have you believe they can offer you more. A simple credential check will reveal that no one has more than an insurance license. High turnover, shaky management, no loyalty to employees. They value new acquisitions more than current employees; if the budget is tight, they'll let employees go in order to gain new books of business. Dishonest & unethical business practices, prospects and clients are blatantly lied to. What they're told is very often not what is actually being sold to them. Difficult environment to work in unless you can shut off your conscience. Low pay, unless commissioned and selling high volume of Ann/LI.

Pros

Salary was nice, and the Christmas party was impressive.

Cons

Trifound keeps growing without fleshing out how it operates internally. The president, Gary Harris, dictates with a sense of arrogance, and he’ll even expect an employee to deliver way beyond his or her job title. I was expected to ghostwrite a 150-page book on top of my full workload. Had I not required additional compensation for doing work outside my title, Gary Harris would have proceeded to exploit me. Upon hearing my terms of compensation, Gary Harris proceeded to insult me by saying “I could find someone more professional [for that amount of money].” I was terminated a few weeks later because TriFound is moving their headquarters to Illinois. I can’t say whether I was let go because of the move or the book, but I realized Gary Harris wouldn’t approach me to apologize for his attempt to exploit me for his personal benefit. I advise any future employee to record any meeting with Gary Harris because it feels great having clear evidence of his arrogance.

RUN FAST.

Pros

There is not a single positive of working at this place. If you care about your sanity, run fast. You won’t learn anything legitimate about the financial industry here.

Cons

No one actually knows how to invest. They are annuity salesman disguised as financial advisors. Honestly, I don’t even think the CEO is licensed to give financial advice other than sell insurance products. Coworkers don’t stick around. I would give this place a negative rating if I could.
