Crumbling Company with Loss of Identity

Pros

Overall Trax is a youthful company.

Cons

The new C-Suite completely ruined the company. After being there for several years and witnessing the changes before and after the transition, the C-Suite destroyed the company's culture and my experience. To the CEO, a culture is meant to be blood sweat and tears. The frequency of team building and company-wide events dwindled to barely existing. The company has existed for over 20 years and yet they still don't have a clear vision of what they want to be. With several layoffs at the end of 2017 and with the new executives they brought in, the company went further south and employee morale got even worse. There is a constant sense of this being a sinking ship and all employees are simply buying time. There is a common sense that many of the executives have been turned into yes men and bobbleheads given the board's direction for the company. If choosing between Trax and a different company, I would definitely think twice before joining Trax.

Pros

Colleagues are nice and smart

Cons

ArmagedDON as some staff calls the CEO, has created an environment of fear and distrust. Attracting new people to keep the myth alive and trying to divide and conquer the older staff while sinking the ship as frankly Management and investors are totally clueless what this business is about. There is no good ending here.

Pros

- Small company means C-suite is accessible to everyone - Location

Cons

- Prepare to be overworked and underpaid - Mid-level managers are inexperienced and poor leaders, promoted based on likeability rather than competence - HR matters are not kept confidential - Executive staff does not keep commitments - Customers are no longer impressed, technology is stale, long-term strategy is unclear, company just seems to be in decline - Not the place to have a career
