Pros

On the whole a bunch of very enthusiastic people wanting to deliver a great product and service to customers. Down tools days (first Monday of the month off with no public holidays) + a number of other benefits.

Cons

Micromanagement of teams in Cycles with a lack of planning these ahead of time. Work in development phase constantly changing on the fly. This led to a lot of wasted work that could be attributed to test and learn approach at times, but more often than not could benefit better planning upfront. A lot promised in the interview phase that quite simply did not eventuate.

Pros

Dog friendly Down Tools days…extra days off Great evolving product Monthly team lunches Most people were great to work with. Tradify were and hopefully still are blessed with amazing employees

Cons

Demotivating management who lack emotional intelligence when dealing with employees in the sales team HR -Lip service moreso whose loyalty was with Management not employees Salary not competitive compared to market. Commission structure became more disappointing as time moved on. Obsession with company targets at the expense of earning potential and motivation of employees. Management never really happy with achievement of sales staff. The more achieved and harder you worked …the more expected and the KPIs increased. Bullying culture from one Manager in particular High turnover in sales staff. Burn and churn culture in Sales.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I agree we have some wonderful perks, and are certainly blessed with amazing employees. However, I have to say, it feels like you are describing a very different company to Tradify when you describe the "Cons". Culture - We are very proud of our strong culture and high employee engagement, as reflected in the employee feedback that is provided directly to us via our Tradify team. In fact, the ANZ Sales team (who you list above) has some of the highest engagement metrics in the company, and this includes management collaboration, communication and trust. Salary - We benchmark our salaries twice a year, and have a very fair and competitive commission structure, with KPI's that are shared transparently at the time of hiring. It seems that your experience is not aligned to the experience of the rest of the team, and we are sorry to read this. However our Inside Sales team tell us we are doing a great job at motivating, growing and rewarding them for their hard work. Regarding your "Bullying Culture" comment. I'd like to make it clear that we would never tolerate bullying, and this accusation is something I take very seriously. I would be happy to discuss this offline, and would appreciate the opportunity to do so, as this is clearly not something you have raised with me in any other capacity or forum before now. I look forward to hearing from you and understanding what has made you feel this way, as it does not align with the company values that we demonstrate each and every day.

Company let down by a few key players

Pros

-Great Product and Engineering team led by top notch leaders! -Good talk of culture elements - lunches, down tool days (when certain team members aren't just expected to work them anyway), snacks, good level of flexibility. Mostly always delivered on. -Great Xmas parties and celebrations of successes. -Dog friendly office -Staff that weren't in management were incredibly supportive of each other

Cons

-WFH flexibility is SO open that it actually slowed down productivity because half the people you wanted and needed to have a quick chat with weren't in the office and trying to coordinate meetings was a nightmare. Would have been better if it was the same number of days a week allowed, but make it a company wide, or team wide "same day off" model. -Operational and engineering staff resources were severally undercooked. -Major disconnect between senior leadership - Key leaders who should have been leading key decision making were pushed aside by other more toxic team members that bullied most of the staff. -Inconsistency in the work/life balance- some leaders treat their teams well and expect them to have lives outside of work, others think nothing of a person working overly long hours, giving up any of their free time for work and were openly hostile to those that tried to maintain that balance. -Examples of bullying or open hostility that were raised were ignored sadly by P&C -Low salaries and unrealistic sales goals for commissions
