Teaching is a stressful job however waiting for phone calls every morning is even more stressful. Calls begin from 7am and you are expected to be out of the house within minutes of a phone call. If you don't drive, it's not possible to get to some places without lengthy travel but you are expected to do so anyway. If you don't accept a booking due to distance, you are bullied into it and made to feel like you are in the wrong when you don't accept, even when it requires nearly 2 hours of travel one way
