I worked at TopView for several years as a developer, and I can confidently say that this is the absolute worst company I have ever worked for. If you value your sanity, work-life balance, or any shred of professional respect, do not accept an offer from this company.
The CEO is a bipolar freak who insists on micromanaging everything, including software processes, despite having zero understanding of how software is built. His constant indecision and erratic changes of direction made it impossible to plan or complete projects efficiently. We never received clear requirements, and there was never a clear understanding of what we were building or why. Every single task was deemed “top priority,” handed to us at the very last moment, and we were always blamed for not delivering on time.
The work culture is absolutely horrific. There is no work-life balance—none. You will be expected to work late nights, weekends, public holidays, and even during your paid and unpaid time off. The CEO and leadership have no respect for personal boundaries; they will contact you at all hours and expect you to jump to their demands.
The toxic environment created by the CEO is unbearable. He screams at and curses employees, fostering a culture of fear, chaos, and micromanagement. Leadership is completely disorganized and lacks any real skills or vision. There is zero planning, zero thinking ahead, and absolutely no leadership. Instead of addressing these issues, they will just pile more work onto your plate without any additional compensation.
If you’re looking for a place where you’re blamed for everything, yelled at by an unhinged CEO, and completely burned out from the relentless workload, then this “hell on earth” might be for you. Otherwise, run as far away as possible.
