Pros
When the product functions as it should, it's a game changer.
Cons
The executive team, led by the CEO, has no idea what happens in the real world. They pick favourites and "act the part" to the rest of the company to make it seem like they care. In reality, they could care less. They lie about the company financial state every month during full all-hands meetings by making it sound like everything is going great, but in reality goals are missed every quarter and they blame the individual contributors who have had zero direction or stability. There is absolutely no emphasis on career development, the CEO is nowhere to be found when asked about this several times by the individual contributors and leaders. They did a round of layoffs, lied and said it would not happen again, only to proceed to do another round of layoffs the same time a year later. The way they handle letting people go is very sad, they don't treat people who busted their behinds for them as people, instead they give the boot and don't even show an ounce of appreciation. They then speak poorly of those individuals let go to folks still at the company.
