      It's a shame Timely got acquired by Evercommerce

      Pros

      - Great history - Fun product - Amazing team - Interesting customer base - Lots of potential

      Cons

      - The company was acquired by Evercommerce - A lot of staff have left the company in the last 12 months - The culture has changed dramatically - The product is ageing The new management has changed the vibe at Timely. New staff may be okay with things but many people have left as a result and a lot of internal knowledge has been lost.

      Good intentions but chaotic

      Pros

      The remote working policy means they can attract great talent from all across the world. They have good intentions and try really hard to make Timely a good place to work.

      Cons

      I think it's really difficult to foster a good culture when you don't work in the same place as your colleagues, You definitely miss out on those chats in the kitchen, finding out about other people's work and what not. It can be quite isolating. Also, this was by far and away the very worst onboarding I've ever experienced from any company I've ever worked at.
