The true culture of Tigerpaw

Pros

There are some incredibly nice people working at Tigerpaw, and the office had a really fun environment among the employees.

Cons

Watching everyone I worked with disappear all around me. There was a constant revolving door of new employees coming and going. The more unfortunate part was even long standing employees were not safe. I’ve never worked in a company that had a worse turnover rate, it felt like the CEO and management just ejected people on a whim. The marketing team used to push us to post positive reviews and I just felt I had to write an honest review before someone else I know ended up here.

Like many companies in our industry, we've undergone changes as we focus on the best way to serve our customers, now and in the future. Change can be uncomfortable, but it's sometimes necessary to put our team members and our company in the best position to be successful. We try our best to recruit and hire talent that are a fit with our culture, work environment, and goals, but sometimes we miss the mark. Related to your comment regarding our product, we roll out new, innovative features and updates regularly, focusing on adding functionality our customers need and want to run more efficient businesses. I Couldn't Stand it Anymore

Pros

There are a lot of genuinely nice people on staff. Most of the employees are great to work with, except in sales, which is a revolving door anyway.

Cons

Those nice people do not include management. This is an Emperor Has No Clothes story, and everyone is afraid to say it. Many of the problems with Tigerpaw are institutional and go back a long way. Fragile egos, stoked by privilege. If a core value is to not be a jerk, monitor your management for adherence to this core value, but no, core values are for show. Silo's everywhere, lack of communication between departments, and management blow ups when the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Reminds me of Cartman yelling "Respect my Authoritay!" If your CEO is focused on playing his guitar, writing books and "having great meetings", but doesn't really lead, how do you think this is working. My best advice to anyone considering Tigerpaw is DON'T.

Casual environment and can be almost family-like

Cons

Once you leave, you will become the cause of things that had nothing to do with you.
