Pros

You earn income, that is it.

Cons

I have never seen a more dysfunctional or toxic workplace than ThinkLP. Even when talking to friends and colleagues about it trying to be positive and objective they would tell me it sounds like hell on Earth. It was. Everyone, especially leadership, throws each other under the bus. If you ask for guidance on a decision you get none. No one wants to give anyone absolutes. This leaves you two options when you are actually trying to do your job. You can make a decision yourself, communicate it and the reasoning as thoroughly as possible, and will get yelled at, told you messed up and fired. Or, you can layout options with pros or cons, get stuck in endless weeks of meetings trying to get alignment on a decision, fall behind schedule and get fired for missing the deadline or not being a "team player". No one in leadership has any management skills. They are either entirely absent or micromanaging to the point of calling people at 11pm asking them why they aren't online. Working at ThinkLP is the lowest point of my career. I will leave it off my resume as I would rather say I had an over year long gap than think about my time there ever again. I developed zero skills, shipped nothing I was proud of and cried every Sunday night at the thought of having to speak to the people who work there again. The worst part is, working with toxic people made me toxic. I hated myself every day. If you doubt what is written in this review or any other, just ask for the eNPS results and you will see none of it is an exaggeration.

Toxic Leadership and Unethical Practices

Pros

Very talented executive team in general, unfortunately overshadowed by extreme incompetence in CEO Spencer Marzouk.

Cons

Unfortunately, my time at ThinkLP was overshadowed by a leadership culture that prioritizes control over integrity. The CEO, Spencer Marzouk, operates in a highly political manner, often making decisions based on personal agendas rather than merit or fairness. I witnessed questionable employment practices, including misleading hiring negotiations, full on screaming tantrums and sudden terminations without cause, which left employees blindsided. There is a pattern of poor communication and backdoor maneuvering, where leadership misrepresents situations to serve their own interests. Trust is nonexistent, and anyone who challenges the status quo is quickly removed. If you value transparency, fairness, and stability, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Pros

Competitive compensation and benefits package Great team members and strong second-tier management. Leadership could be improved and is very questionable, but we'll address the challenges in the cons section. Unlimited PTO (DTO) policy

Cons

It seems leadership has become aware of the negative feedback circulating online. Joining this team feels like a bit of a gamble—you could be paired with an excellent manager who will champion your development and growth. On the flip side, the CEO and Leadership Team present challenges. The CEO appears to have significant autonomy, and as some reviews have pointed out, lacks industry experience, struggling to connect with the company’s established culture. There is no care for the people. There has been considerable turnover at the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) level, and it's surprising that the board hasn’t taken a closer look at the CEO to address these ongoing concerns. Ultimately, if you find yourself under strong a strong manager, you’re likely to thrive. However, proceed with caution when it comes to the ELT. Some of these leaders may not have your best interests at heart and can let you go in an instant if you challenge them.
