Pros

The people I worked with and our benefits were great. The newly renovated design floor was amazing.

Cons

-Extremely late hours on the Jessica Simpson Brand.. ZERO work to life balance. My first day lasted until 9pm. My second day til 11pm. You were expected to work 80-90 hour weeks all the time. -Management would purposely schedule meetings at 9 and 10pm so you were forced to stay late. -Design did the job of Design, Tech Design, Production and Merchandising. -We were forced to come in on the weekend AND federal holidays without pay.

Very toxic environment that feeds off of constant, needless drama

Pros

Great stepping stone! Learn what you can, take advantage and/or initiate any possible opportunities to own a special project for recognition and to build your resume, then run like hell!

Cons

Lots of bullying from upper management in a toxic and outright unprofessional atmosphere wear swearing, breaking pencils, pounding on desks and slamming doors is the new norm. Everyone is under massive amounts of constant stress to get an impossible amount of work done. Deadlines almost always compete and no mater what you choose to tackle first, you chose wrong. Supervisors/Directors can almost never agree on any one thing which results in religiously contradicting directions from the multiple supervisors you have and leaves the innocent "work horse" to decide which suit to follow and which to upset. No one is approachable and the nicest of people will gladly stab you in the back the moment you turn around to avoid admitting a mistake. Everything is a fire to put out - management does not know or care how to lead others, they are only concerned on how quickly they can unload their deadlines and messy confusion onto their many "nameless" associates. Not a healthy environment for anyone who values work/life balance.
