      Pros

      - Seasoned environment with very experienced and sharp recruiters who bring an average tenure of 10-15 years' experience - The brand is actually a reflection of a management consulting firm, more so than a recruitment firm as it brings a strong advisory and consultative approach in a highly professional manner to navigate clients' challenges - Extremely high success rate in delivery on projects, as each recruiter is quick to know who are the right candidates to present and also highly skilled in closing out the recruitment process in a win-win situation for all parties - Good office location as you will be spoilt for so many food choices and travel convenience ! - Culturally the business gives you a high level of autonomy & respect to achieve what you set out to do. Good supportive colleagues who always never fail to give a lending hand in times in need.

      Cons

      - Perhaps on a branding aspect, there is so much more potential to be improved. As the saying goes, if you are good, you are good. That pretty much sums up its existence in the last 10 years with many more good years ahead.

      Pros

      I was working in the the Banking Finance team and worked there for 2+ years. I would definitely rate The Edge as one of the best recruitment firm I have worked . They provided me with flexibility to grow, succeed and learn from my mistakes, more so in industry like ours which is so cut throat and transactional. Management is always supportive, transparent and provides a good learning space. It provided me with valuable learnings in terms of candidate management, relationship building and offer management which is still imbibe by. Senior management are very experienced with good business ethics. Good company with good culture and values and gives you very good flexibility to maintain a good work-life balance

      Cons

      Probably could have had a dedicated L&D or HR person for any feedback or developments.

I hear you on the L and D, which is why we were pleased to hire an experienced L and D individual, with lots of experience in recruitment, in late 2021 and have now launched multiple training courses at different levels...       Moved from a bigger agency into The Edge - absolutely no regrets!

      Pros

      - Experienced and supportive leadership team - Open culture, positive and friendly working environment - Great commission scheme - Total flexibility on working arrangements and trust from leadership - Dedicated Learning & Development platform

      Cons

      N/A - genuinely has been a great experience - having moved out from a bigger agency was apprehensive about working in a more "boutique" set-up, but the existing client and candidate relationships are fantastic, IT infrastructure is great, there is a dedicated L&D platform, and am working with a group of like-minded people who are passionate and dedicated to a career in recruitment. None of the office politics that can come with working in a larger organisation.
