Pros

Flexible hours Work from home Make your own luck here

Cons

- No supervision or accountability. - A non existent HR department with clueless management. - Every week the checks were late and our insurance was dropped for over 3 months before they notified us. - Sold pipe dreams of a changing and growing company which resulting in them laying off the entire office with no warning. - Use "Christianity" and "God" to execute horrific business tactics and policies. - Embarrassingly low pay and benefits. - Management does not care about employees and were perfectly fine with no one even showing up to work for weeks at a time. - Never told if you were doing a good job, but were suddenly reprimanded for a bad one with no warning. - Unrealistic goals and constant changing of roles. - Toxic work environment with altercations happening almost weekly. - Complainers, lazy workers, and team "cancers" rewarded. And on and on....

Pros

I must enter at least 5 words in this block. There you go.

Cons

....how does this place have 3.8 stars? If i could give no stars i would. Low compensation (as in it can barely be thought of as a salary), no mentorship, no leadership, terrible communication.

Cons

1 - This media organization is not an objective newspaper but a propagator of a specific political/religious agenda. They don't hide that fact, indeed they train reporters to be subjective and write pieces form an anti-choice, anti-gay-rights perspective. Their actions stand in direct violation of the code of journalistic ethics. I couldn't stand working there. 2 - The management is often openly rude to staff and humiliates reporters, yells at them. The general work atmosphere I've experienced there is the worst one I've experienced in my life;
