Pros

Pay is mediocre Free tuition for a number of classes Opportunities to go to conventions on their dime

Cons

They never gave me my benefits but sure did bill me twice a month for them. Pay is mediocre for the amount of work they will require HR is your enemy big time at Temple If you are stuck with a bad supervisor or work environment and raise it to the attention of leadership or HR, they will do whatever they can to terminate you instead of making the workplace healthy. If you want to transfer departments, they require one year in a position you might be unhappy in. Leadership is very wishy washy. They will take advantage of you. Politics in the workplace is HUGE here. They will immediately cut you out of things and try to make your day to day work life absolutely horrible if they suspect you aren't aligned their way. Leadership all on dating apps and with age ranges of young college students and reach out to students while living on campus. No training. Literally just sent me to work and harshly productivity reports. It is their word against yours, always. They never cared about any of us. You are replaceable and they make you feel it. They operate on a large corporation model so literally anything you have to get done in your position, be prepared to jump through several hoops to get it done and then when it doesn't get done soon enough be prepared to be disciplined for it. They will manipulate the slightest communication issue as something worth firing you over. If you end up terminated, they will fight you in court to take your unemployment away. If you end up laid off, they will also fight you to take your unemployment away. They are constantly cutting positions because they are broke, so don't get too comfortable. Leadership changes a lot because people come onboard to pad their resume and take off in a year or three and leave the team hanging.
