Clueless, impersonal, and will withhold earned pay from you.

Pros

You get to work from home sometimes.

Cons

Management is bad. They hire questionable people. They take advantage of employees often. Little benefits or perks. They can and will lay you off if they do not have work for you AND will not pay out your accrued vacation time. I was laid off unceremoniously due to lack of work (it happens) but i literally walk into the office with no notice and was told i was let go. And although i would be brought back if a new project came in, i would not be paid out the vacation time i accrued. Best part is, they dont allow you to even take vacation time during the holidays. Also, they dont provide any parking, or any compensation for having to pay for parking daily.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. The experience that you described clearly does not align to our demonstrated values and objective of creating an environment supporting durable career growth for our Team Members through the Teleion Capabilities Framework. Our continued investments are all targeted to enable our Team Members to take on stretch assignments supporting career growth; leveraging the Teleion Learning Platform, mentorship, and our weekly review of expiring assignments to place Team Members with new client engagements aligned to their demonstrated skills and aspirations. I am gravely concerned by your comment that Teleion “will withhold earned pay from you”. We have strenuous policies and audits to ensure compensation is paid appropriately. Please consider calling me directly so I can further understand your experience and determine how we may resolve any miscommunications or issues with your compensation. Sincerely, Jon Elliott, Managing Partner. (425) 765-4265

Nothing special

Pros

Nothing really. They have same baseline flexibility as other companies - hours, work from home, occasional happy hour, etc.. Nothing they do is above average. Just another company.

Cons

They talk about improving their image, providing better opportunities for employees, retaining talent, growing their size and influence, etc. etc., but end of the day they are like any other contracting company. Find a body, fill a slot, pat you on the bum on the way out the door when they don't need you. They are just another contracting firm with nothing to distinguish them from any other shop in the business. They are not bad - just nothing that anyone else in the business isn't.

Toxic Work Environment, Unethical Leadership

Pros

Most of the negative reviews are completely accurate. The only pro was the the office view, if you are one of the 50% facing the East direction of open desks, that's about it. Work from home days were nice but are now being phased out.

Cons

Management cultivates toxic satellite bullies within the office culture. Complete psychopaths stalking us around the office. The ineptitude in professionalism was frightening, management allowing remote desktop hackers into our system, team leads throwing bags of snacks at managements faces made it feel like a preschool playground. People are too afraid to say what they want and instead revert to passive aggressive behavior. No clear job description, orientation or goals for specific positions, employees are expected to work on projects without prior knowledge or experience and told to “figure it out”. Asking for help or advice from management is a joke, I have seen multiple people with dread in their eyes because they are overwhelmed and don’t know what to do next. There is also absolutely no career progression in this company. You are put in a very repetitive siloed role among all teams of the internal Teleion office.

Hello Former Employee, Thanks for taking the time to include your comments about working at Teleion. Your feedback is so very different than the employee experience I am familiar with over the past 6 months or so. I wonder if it is from our deeper past? Please consider contacting me to discuss how we can improve our investments in things like our management practices, training, mentorships, stretch assignments and weekly expiring engagements review.
