      This merger destroyed a great Technip company

      Pros

      If you came from FMC you likely got an undeserved promotion when you really were redundant and incompetent and should have been let go. Especially the idiots in the executive ranks.

      Cons

      FMC's culture seems to be one of know-it-all-ism while having no clue. How were these people hired in the first place? It's seems like a good ol' boys and good ol' girls club.

      Pros

      Technology is finally coming into the 21st century. There are some incredibly smart and talented employees at the company (for now).

      Cons

      1) Internal upward mobility used to be prevalent - not so much any more. 2) The top has no idea what the middle and bottom are doing - they need to step out of their offices. 3) Since the merger and new CEO took the helm, the culture has negatively shifted. 4) No raises in 3-4 years for most "regular" staff.

      There are no pros to working here.

      Cons

      No communication from upper management. They continue with layoffs, even after being told that they were done. Treat employees like pawns.
