      The learning curve!

      Pros

      - They took me in fresh out of uni (straight after my master's degree)! For that, I am very grateful. - I had a chance to experience how the company is run from a 360° perspective. - I had the pleasure to work directly with the founder Niko and was fascinated by his way of generating and managing ideas. - Everything that happened (good and bad) shaped me for the better and I was able to grow my own successful business afterwards.

      Cons

      - The relationships between coworkers were toxic. - Women were paid less than men for the same positions. My salary stayed below minimum wage all 4 months there, although I tried super hard to negotiate for a better deal.

      Pros

      TOA has been a career opportunity like no other. You'll hardly find a better way to enter and get to know the Berlin Tech ecosystem. The company is led by a well-connected and involved Founder and holds true to its future-proofing mission. A career-booster, but one whose unique culture, work-streams and stakeholders you'll end up missing!

      Cons

      Fast paced, high-speed delivery environment. Not for everyone!

      Pros

      Great for people who want to learn by doing. Gives you insights into the inner workings of the startup ecosystem. Good to build a network. While it can be stressful at times, you will have good memories looking back! Team is young and fun. Seeing the festival take shape and people attend gives you great sense of accomplishment.

      Cons

      The pressure of putting on a festival is high. Expect long work days before the festival. Not easy to have a product that only takes place once a year. Not much mentorship as managers are busy meeting their goals.
