Pros

Short drive, nice office suite, some of my co-workers were nice

Cons

Very stressful job at a third party collection agency. Yelled/sworn at a lot on the phone from the consumers. Tense working environment too, always walking on eggshells (told off for being one minute late only ONCE the entire miserable 7 months I could tolerate working there), micromanaged, disrespected, owners claim to be "Christian", but are very cruel and unsympathetic, so they're quite hypocritical. I was always blamed for everything, but they never owned up to their own mistakes and always threw me under the bus all the time. My supervisor was younger than me with less education but she was an insecure control freak on a power trip who treated me horribly all the time. I would go home crying every evening.

Pros

Nice office A few nice coworkers

Cons

So much anxiety and walking on eggshells to not get lectured like a child. Owners buy their clients with gifts. Owners treat employees like delinquent children. Owners say company is "growing" but staff has been same size for years. Everyone has more work than is possible for one person but owners demand that it be finished. Everyone in the building is unhappy but everyone's too afraid to say anything and knows it won't change their ridiculous policies. No HR Department to turn to. Low hourly wage. Required overtime, required late nights, required working Saturdays. If you have to switch a late night or Saturday, you have to work a different one AND use your PTO. No PTO until you work for 1 full year. Have to use PTO if you are one minute late to the office or back from lunch break. Can't do anything without approval from owners. Constant hovering from owners. Required to listen to Christian radio station because owners are very religious and not allowed to turn radio up or down. No lunch room and you're not allowed to eat at your desk so everyone eats in their cars. More than a handful of people go home crying every night... STAY AWAY!!!!
