Pros

Great way to learn how to work phone plans and new phones. Loved helping people that couldn't exactly afford a high end phone, as well as showing them how it worked.

Cons

Never once did I approve of health insurance. I was charged $130 two times, never once showed up on my pay stub. I don't need health insurance, I am still covered under my parents. Just found out about it on my tax forms. Also, literally sent my W-2 the last day possible. Unfair management- I got yelled at for sitting down for lunch.

Pros

-stimulating to work with and help customers, especially if you enjoy smartphone tech. -opportunity to be outside and wave signage, if that would be enjoyable for you, without having to constantly do that and only that. (obviously, you don't have to be outside in rainy or harsh weather.) -there was usually someone to advise you or reach out to if you were in the store alone and you needed help -often budget carrier clientele tend to be more from socioeconomically disadvantaged populations: shady characters, homeless people, unprofessional, emotionally-imbalanced. sometimes this can be interesting and others its not fun. i think its healthy to experience people different walks of life, but it might be good for you to know about this before getting into the position.

Cons

-comissions may not be significant despite relatively robust sales conversion ratios. -management is not fairly compensated for the amount of time and effort expected of them, this means often you may very well be working for people who dont have strong management skills or experience or are desperate or in a desperate life circumstance. its very possible that they will pass that stress on to you. -checks regularly failed to cash or didn't come on time -tech processes can be messy and you can definitely get you in trouble

Pros

Easy job. Light cleaning. When promos are good can make decent money.

Cons

Mgmt changes goals frequently to avoid paying commissions. Everything that was promised was a lie. They promised to pay for my school and that was a lie. They also failed to pay all of the commissions owed. The ac went out and the district mgr told us it was just heat. When I was sick they made me come in They lied every chance they can to manipulate their employees Run do not work here. Run.
