Don't Work at TalentBridge

Pros

There are a few good recruiters that you can trust, but not many.

Cons

TalentBridge is a terrible place to work. It all starts with Upper Management. They try to present themselves as intelligent, strategic and well organized. That is the furthest thing from the truth. The CEO is incredibly focused on appearance rather than doing right for the company. He complains about budgets and spending, but has no problem spending $300K for an annual event. He is incredibly nice to your face and then talks poorly about you behind your back. And it's not just about lower level people. He talks poorly about the management team openly. The COO is the worst of the bunch. He has no business knowledge, but thinks he knows everything. He was hired because he was a college friend of the CEO. He constantly changes direction. He forgets to attend meetings. He is late to the meetings that he does attend. He forgets conversations. He is by far the worst manager I have encountered throughout my career. Additionally, they are a staffing and recruiting firm. They should understand how the market is changing and adapt. However, during COVID, they were bringing the entire staff (90 people) back in the office 5 days a week. They couldn't trust that people could work from home and be productive. They don't trust their people. They hover over everything that you do. They care more about hitting numbers rather than their people. They say that they care about the people and community, but all they care about is themselves. Unless you are desperate for a job (and still I wouldn't recommend), I highly encourage you to look for a different job. It isn't worth the agony of going into the office everyday. I say this from my experience and for the number of people that quit working there without a job. People that have been there 5, 9 years. They would rather be unemployed rather than to continue to work there. Trust me, don't work at TalentBridge.

It’s unfortunate that Glassdoor provides a vehicle for this type of slanderous review, which is more of a personal retaliation than legitimate feedback/review. TalentBridge prides itself on being recognized as a “Top Place to Work” in 2021 and 2022. Our Charlotte market (where this review appears to have originated) enjoys nearly zero voluntary turnover, the result of a deep commitment to and investment in our people, as well as the transparency of our full leadership team. We fully supported our team during COVID lockdowns, following CDC recommendations and offering both remote and hybrid options to those who qualified. TalentBridge only recently required most workers return to the office to inspire camaraderie and an ability to cross-train, which is invaluable in our business and had declined during COVID. And, like most successful companies, our focus on numbers is primarily to help identify where we need development. While we always welcome feedback, this type of baseless personal attack affects the lives of all the people in our organization. We do hope you find peace and success in your future endeavors.

Pros

None. Worst temp company I've ever worked for. Extremely unprofessional. Worked for Lash Group in a racist cultural environment.

Cons

Talent Bridge practices fraudulent reporting to government entities. When a work assignment comes to an end they will report that you still work for them so that you will not be eligible for Unemployment Compensation although they are not paying you. Only temp company I ever had do this.

Thank you for your review and I’m sorry you had this negative experience. By law we are required to report if you are eligible for rehire with Talent Bridge. By your comment it appears you must have performed very well in your role because we reported you would be eligible for rehire with Talent Bridge. I am happy to discuss this with you personally if you feel we have reported your status incorrectly. I am unaware as to how the ESC handles this type of information in determining eligibility. Please feel free to call us at any time if you feel I can be of assistance.
