Management and Team Leaders have delusions of god-hood

Pros

Clean work place. Free coffee from vending machines in cafeterias. Local company which is conveniently located with easy access from freeways.

Cons

Poor wages. Upper management is all about the latest 'buzz words', talks a good game, but in the end, you're lucky if they throw you an occasional bone. Team Leaders are mostly tin plated little dictators with delusions of god-hood. They all are taught to demean all workers and push them to the breaking point. Most of them know nothing about the positions they are trying to lead, and received their positions because they either know someone in upper management, are looking for a way to hold authority over others, or were coerced into taking the position (so they hate it and take it out on their subordinates). Your own personal life is "out the window", as all vacation time must be pre-approved .. which means if there is product to get out the door, YOU aren't going to be able to go on vacation (even over national holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas). HUGE turn over of employees. Every week sees approximately 6 people leave and 6 people get hired. With so many new-hires on duty, vast amounts of product is built wrong, scheduling is thrown off, and thus mandatory overtime is dumped on everyone. (except for management). The same production errors that were made 10+ years ago are still being made, because of poor continuity in employees. After working there any decent amount of time, frustration at the continual poor management, and poor judgement exhibited by management and Team Leaders leads to feelings of utter hopelessness and despair. You simply stay on because you have time invested into the job, a 401K, and have become desensitized to the continual abuse.

Pros

Temperature controlled, clean floor, treated like trash

Cons

The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing too many people getting paid to do nothing and they took away our raise this year and want us to work harder during a pandemic that they dont give 2 bits about the people who actually get product out.

Great coworkers, super low pay

Pros

The only pro about this place was the coworkers, not management, just the coworkers. They are always friendly.

Cons

Always hire through temporary service and keep you as temporary employee well beyond the 90 days required by the service. Promise better pay once you're hired on and then give tiny increase instead. Extremely low pay given the work they expect. Don't give you feedback on how you are doing your job for a year, then give you a crappy review and little or no raise. Communication between departments is the absolute worst I've seen in a corporate environment. Getting answers when you need them is like pulling teeth. When you finally get a response to your question, it doesn't even answer your question!
