Pros

1) Provides plenty of great ancilliary benefits e.g. comprehensive family medical coverage, share options, extra EPF contributions, housing loans & subsidies and a lot of leaves! 2) Room for career growth & progression, training included 3) Good management (subject to change) 4) Not as stressful if compared elsewhere

Cons

1) Salary slightly lower compared to MNCs 2) Need to work for many years to fully realise the benefits 3) Employees become complacent, job is periodically challenging (certain periods very busy, other periods free) 4) Flawed appraisal system

Pros

None compared to my previous companies

Cons

My experience working here has been extremely challenging due to the overall work environment and lack of governance structure. The workplace culture leans towards being highly toxic, with minimal empathy from management when it comes to workload, personal capacity, or employee well-being. There is a significant absence of clearly defined Job Descriptions (JD), which results in employees being assigned excessive and often unrelated responsibilities without proper scope control. From an ICT perspective, there are noticeable gaps across processes, controls, and overall governance. Many practices are not aligned with established industry frameworks or best practices. Instead, teams tend to operate based on legacy habits or “the way things have always been done,” rather than structured, risk-based approaches. Additionally, collaboration can be difficult, especially when working with teams that are resistant to change or improvement. This creates inefficiencies and slows down progress, particularly in areas that require modernization or alignment with current standards. Overall, the organization has potential, but significant improvements are needed in leadership mindset, process maturity, and adoption of proper frameworks to create a healthier and more effective working environment
