Pros

The more successful you are the more you are rewarded. For the new business team it was like running your own business with a liveable retainer and the rewards could be huge. One thing they do fantastically well is to celebrate the wins

Cons

The business runs on cashflow and a couple of bad months can leave it very exposed. Also not for you if you can't deal with an expectation that you will deliver.

Pros

Great coworkers, beautiful office, great creative atmosphere. Great if you need to get entry level agency experience.

Cons

Where do I begin? This is a horrible company. So much turnover. I'm talking people leaving every few months type of turnover. They promise you that you will grow and move up and it never happens. If you do stay here for awhile they will find a way to pull one on you. I've seen it. Pay is low and it will stay low. Before I accepted the job I told them I read reviews online and asked them straight up why turnover was an issue. They said it was due to lazy millennial-types. Now I know they were lying. The sales quotas are unrealistic and they are designed that way. They are unrealistic and used as a reason to fire you because "you didn't meet target". They will also fire you before a deal closes and take your commission. Why do you think they have you sign a contract that states if you leave you won't get your commission? Oh no darling, they are not putting that in there in case you quit. They will literally fire you right before a deal goes through and take your money. I can tell you that the reviews on here that are positive are fake. I was told to write one (but didn't). They did this for "reputation management". The nature of the business itself also is shady. They do promotions and bank on people not redeeming them. Basically it acts as free advertising for companies. Get's people excited about a promotion so they buy like crazy but then they bank on them forgetting to redeem their receipt. When people do redeem the promotions the companies have to pay more and they of course don't want to do that! What happens if a lot of people redeem them? HELL. Be expected to kill yourself if a campaign is successful. There are some interesting reviews online from people that have gotten burned by these promotions. I implore you to check them out. Lastly, the management there is fake. They will smile and be chipper but I guarantee you they are sneaky. I learned a typical New Yorker lesson here not to take things for face value.

Pros

Happy Hours and there were some occasional group outings for drinks/food.

Cons

-Low salaries: People work there for years and are not well compensated + don't get raises. You get a "promotion" as in a change in your title, but not your salary. -I have never worked in an environment where employees are as micromanaged as much as you are here, even when you're delivering what is expected and more. -Disorganized: Management is all over the place. They try to bring positive changes, but don't execute these changes properly and there isn't good communication across the "global" and the NY office. -People on the lower end of the ladder get blamed for the lack of communication and proper management from the higher ups and are left to scramble to meet their new last minute goals. -Everyone acts like they like their jobs and the company until it's a social work outing and they let you know how they're actually miserable and have been looking for a new job for months. -Deceived: You are told that your position would entail A, B, C during your interview and then it turns out to be X,Y,Z , a completely different thing that you were told.
