Pros

Nice company events Relaxed atmosphere (when working in Harlem's office, otherwise it depends on your project) Low technical requirements when joining (most of the times)

Cons

Unreliable accounting. Double check all your salaries to avoid problems afterwards Body rental company. Which means there's no guarantee about the quality of the projects you might end up working on Unclear vision for the company future Prone to make promises they cannot keep when hiring new employees or moving them to other projects Bad internal communication Scarce contact with colleagues outside of events High turnover Quite low salary compared to other companies in the Amsterdam area Limited career opportunities for developers

Pros

- Subsidised laptop and bike - Pension plan

Cons

Sytac sells developer time to clients. That's it. You'll likely end up working at a big client on some sort of legacy system, that's 90% of the role availables. Once you are at the client you're on your own. Don't expect frequent one to ones, don't expect to hear from management, don't expect to have career development. There's no evaluation nor follow up. Once you start billing, their job is done. You might hear from your squad lead once in a while, to invest your personal time to plan company events. Since they have no clue how well you're doing at your client, expect your pay raise to depend solely on how enthusiastic you are about it. I just fail to see the value that Sytac adds. You still have to pass interviews at your client to get a role, the only difference with working with an agency is that there's fewer choices, so what's the point?

Pros

Extra benefits and budgets are good. Cooperation

Cons

They do not support too much people coming from abroad to work in the Netherlands. They suppose you know everything and leave you there without any recommendation. They should have a better relocation program involving housing, advices and others. Also they should help people and take care of their documents to avoid unexpected things later They give the impression to be an amazing company but once you're inside things are different and salaries are not the best as well as clients.
