Pros

The view from the office is nice

Cons

I was let go inexplicably after leaving my company for Syntactx. I don't know if the decision was disciplinary or otherwise, which is odd, because we had weekly 1-on-1 meetings with our supervisor, yet nothing was ever mentioned and I wasn't warned of anything. Just let go on a Monday morning with no explanation but "we don't think you're a good fit after all". I left my former company because I was promised a good future here, and without any explanation, let back into the world with a "good luck to you". Conditions are also unnecessarily corporate and it isn't comfortable being there.

Pros

The people you work with are great You get a lot of responsibility Promoted fast Very fast growth

Cons

Politics, whispering, backstabbing Your responsibility increases and increases, until two of you couldn't do your job Salaries are low and promotional raises are barely noticeable on paycheck Management doesn't care. At first you think they misunderstand, over time it becomes clear they don't want to hear it.
