      Never work for Synoptos

      Pros

      Not a single pro to work for Synoptos.

      Cons

      Worked for Synoptos for 9 days. Terrible company that overprices their product and gets their rear end kicked by the leader of Media Intelligence, Meltwater. Shrinking account base due to greed of the company management to extract 80% margins plus from current customers.

      Employee was fired after 9 days. Since Synoptos values honesty, integrity, hard work, attention to detail, and collaboration, he was found to be a poor fit very quickly. It's unfortunate when disgruntled, terminated employees use Glassdoor to make false statements in the hope of exacting retribution as it denigrates the usefulness of this site . Synoptos remains a rapidly growing media intelligence company and market leader of influencer technologies. We provide extensive value to our growing base of clients and we're very proud of the work we do to advance communications campaigns.

      Losing Clients Due To Bad Management

      Pros

      An innovative idea on paper. But it doesn't materialize at all and the product is overly hyped to clients. When clients find out that it's not worth the fees Synoptos charges, they leave. As is the case that is happening right now.

      Cons

      As stated above. Synoptos uses buzz words as a shield for an actual research product line. I would avoid at all costs. Management will string you along as clients are continuing to leave. Management from top to bottom has little idea what they are doing, and they will throw the ones lowest on the ladder under the bus consistently.

      Inaccurate review from disgruntled employee who was fired for violating company ethics policy and for poor performance who is now attempting to denigrate the company. Very sad! Read the other reviews from people that work hard and don't try to cheat the company. As noted from other reviews and as is the case each year, Synoptos is growing and expanding its client base by significant double-digit numbers. The technology applications continue to expand, offering increased depth and sophistication unmatched in the market. The company maintains a 90% YOY client retention rate - that wouldn't be possible without exceptional products and service.

      Company that is going places

      Pros

      Synoptos is more than a great place to work - it is also a great place to grow with the company. Simply put, the future is bright. Synoptos is brewing with talent - dedicated and diverse staff who are highly competent, driven people, and who work well together. The company is an interesting mix of a start-up culture - one focused on its bottomline and growth, but which thrives on individual input and creative and out-of-the-box thinking. This is a place in which one can both learn and teach others, develop a true sense of ownership, and where one can find a meaning in what he or she does everyday - far more than just a paycheck.

      Cons

      Since staff are dispersed in different time zones, may occasionally work after hours when working on deadlines.
