Fun, environment, can wear whatever you want, low stress overall, easy work, free meal while working.
Cons
Horrible management, bias, try to claim they are black owned, lower east side boys club basically, if you don’t kiss up to management, you don’t get opportunities. Has become too corporate and money hungry versus the previous “ family” mentality it grew on. Management is sneaky and spiteful, will be passive aggressive with selfish intentions regarding shifts, pay, opportunity. Pressure to give out free food/drinks to anyone or everyone who says they know the owner. Owners and management constantly asking workers to serve them without tipping/ sending in “VIPS” to be served without tipping, basically they look out for everyone else except the people who work there. Events are the worst, you’re overworked and under compensated.
