Pros

I started with support.com 9 years ago nearly. Allowed me to relocate to my current state from my previous painlessly which was one of the best thing i could of wanted. Company has a lot of growth potential even after 9 years, great people at all levels. Very supportive HR department. Because things change fast in the environment it allowed me to gain skills that i would of gone to college to get degrees for but instead i learned them through the years with support.com thanks to my peers and the higher ups sharing their highly valuable knowledge. If there is anything you want to learn there is always a door open some where to learn it with this company as long as you have the drive to go ask. Support.com is also multi skilled, employee's who come from all kinds of backgrounds and not just technical which makes learning even more interesting. If i look back to 9 years ago, I would of taken less pay to learn what i have over 9 years because its things that will be with me for life that has no value and i owe it all to support.com. The new interim CEO is super sharp, amazing memory and is on top of it. Company is going through a positive change currently, one of the best changes i've witnessed in 9 years employeed with them that will impact everyone.

Cons

Will be moving on this week for personal health reasons but the only con i know of is moving to fast. So much creative work/passion and growth opportunities but a lot of foundation things that need resolved quickly on all levels. Going to miss everyone here and seeing the passion every employee brings to the company.

Pros

First and foremost, work from home. I will never stop loving this! There are lots of career opportunities and we are still growing. Medical is pretty good, not great; the company does pay part of the deductible and they pay their portion first. Personally this works well for me as I don't generally need to see the doctor often so little to no out of pocket expenses each year. We just promoted several people into management positions and there are always opportunities listed on our careers page. Our new leadership team is really focused on driving culture and while it's still new for us; it does look like we have a promising future ahead of us.

Cons

Compensation isn't great; towards the lower end of the scale. Many times we place people into positions that require significantly more from then; in most cases it's voluntary; many associates assume it's a path to a promotion. Often that is the case but it may not happen quickly as one would like. Communication can be challenging in the work from home environment at times; sometimes it's hard to feel heard.
