Pros

They pay you on time.

Cons

Everything. Small company. No take home truck. They expect you to call homeowners from your cell phone. Unorganized!!! Very. It’s like a Mickey Mouse operation. Nobody communicates with each other, everything is last minute. CEO wants to be the biggest solar company but his “upper management” can’t even budget right for positions.

Pros

I no longer have to tolerate the inexcusable and unprofessional behaviors of Dan Javan.

Cons

From day one I knew I made a mistake, the owner cannot allow himself to let people do their job. You're always wrong in everything you do. Nothing is ever good enough and he is consistent about letting you know how terrible of an employee you are. If it's in the daily group meetings, 1x1 in his office, at the water cooler with your peers, it's never not known you're expendable at any moment. Has anyone ever heard a CEO cuss profusely during a leadership meeting? I haven't until I joined Suntuity. Or how about how stupid or worthless you and your teammates are? I haven't until I joined Suntuity. I understand that a lot of people are without work, but this is the one time I would say, I would be thankful to not have a job if it meant having to work with him again. Oh, if you ever want a bonus, pay raise, or anything along those lines, don't expect it.

Pros

I worked with a great team of people (excluding management) We received holidays off but only 5 days of PTO a year that most people lose because Suntuity has a habit of letting a majority of new hires go within 1 year.

Cons

The CEO, Dan Javan, is disrespectful, rude, and condescending. He single handedly created the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced. It trickles down from him to upper management to everyone below. Everyone from every department is overworked with little to no acknowledgement of their efforts. People are fired constantly and work piled onto lower level staff with no raises or bonuses in sight. I received calls on weekends, after hours, and holidays. Managers constantly throw their staff under the bus to avoid conflicts with the CEO. There is no trust in leadership and management is a mess with constant changes from the CEO who trusts no one to do their job. He insults leadership in front of their own teams on calls and in front of the entire company. Disgusting company that lured me from my previous company with false promises. Skip out on this one. You will thrive literally anywhere else.
