      An enjoyable experience as rich as the soil produced there, but tarnished by corporate growing pains.

      Pros

      Sun Gro Hubbard, OR treats employees fairly and recognizes their production workers value. Hubbard, OR plant is an excellent place to work from employee morale perspective, great core group of individuals. Good quality product that actually does what it claims to do.

      Cons

      Not much opportunity for advancement internally. Recent job insecurity due to corporate "growing pains". Less than stellar medical and 401k benefits.

      Was a great company but bad decisions.

      Pros

      It was a good company but the decisions new ownership has made to close the corporate office has been a huge negative impact.

      Cons

      Forced a new system on everyone and fired over 60 skilled people in the corporate office for no positive returns other than a "owned" building.

      The workers are the only good thing about the place.

      Cons

      No raises or promotions. Managment who blatantly lie to your face about policies setting you up to fail. Missed a day of work and lost full week of hazard pay.
