Pros

Easy work, some nice coworkers.

Cons

Fear of layoffs all year due to lack of work. Then you apply to work in one location and when they have lack of work they offer to send you to another location that is on average of a hour away. They will take you in a company van but you're not on the clock until you get to the jobsite, even though you are in their vehicle and on company business. Then there are times where if you don't agree to go to a different location they fire you, saying it's a volunteer quit. How is that a volunteer quit if you're not able to do it. They don't care if you have a good reason like a problem with childcare. They even try to get you to change shifts. Now if I apply to work in Cincinnati on first and make it clear on my application I won;t relocate why would you try to get me to do so. People apply at a location and a certain shift because it meets their needs. It's a union company for production people and the union is not the best and the recent contract is awful. The union rep told people to vote yes on it knowing it was a bad contract. One example is where warehouse workers get two weeks vacation after a year, while production only gets a week. Takes production employees 5years to earn two weeks vacation. You also start at around $10.80 hr in production and takes five years to make over $12.00 hr. There is also a language barrier due to most employees are Hispanic and few speak English which can make communication a problem. Company is constantly moving management to different locations. So you have new managers making constant changes. They also watch you like a hawk on the security cameras, which they like to use to point you if you are even just 30 seconds late from break. Which you are lucky to get you full break time due to fear of being late, so most people end their break early so they have enough time to put all their gear on and get back in time. Then there is the Human Resource staff that has a couple of really rude people and seems to hate helping you when you gave a question.

Pros

Salary was decent and I don't mind the type of work I was doing. 1/2 the people there were ok to work with

Cons

Long (long) hours. 12 hour days 6 and 7 days a week with no end in sight. Benefits are just ok. No flexibility. Poor manager
