Pros

When you want to overwork without being appreciated. Basically you will be learning everything on your own, which can be good sometimes because you have to do anything and everything that the big boss asks you to and you will become a all-rounder. Besides, if you are a foreign student who just graduate from school and are having difficulties finding a company that provides H1-B sponsor ship, Stellar is the place to be. However there is always trade-offs that you must realize - there aint no such a thing as free lunch. Just be prepared of what you will be getting.

Cons

Employees will stay at the same level, no opportunities for enhancements. No proper training. No future.

Pros

The only pro is when you feel the relief of running out of there with any semblance of sanity and respect for yourself intact

Cons

Everything. The two people that own the company run it like a sweat shop. They scream and yell at employees; they expect employees to work any and all hours with no comp time or even consideration. they thrive in chaos and everything to them is a game. they give no guidance, no direction, no goals, no titles, no training, no mentoring and throw employees under the bus at every turn...this is the most toxic work environment that exists. This is more like a manufacturing plant--it's a gulag--run like and by communist camp--you have no rights, no voice, no representation and no opportunity. they manage through fear and intimidation

Pros

Small company is flexible without much politics or stifling policies. Work/life balance is fine, but expectations at work can get overwhelming. Chance to work on a number of different projects at client sites.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional in just about every way imaginable. Internal communication is non-existent. No middle level management. Senior level managers are not actually "managers" in the usual sense of the word. Confusion over authority is rampant and leads to inefficient work. Workload is not particularly heavy, yet the work environment can feel extremely stressful due to the bad communication. No true career path (layers of the organization are isolated from each other). No instruction. No empathy. No appreciation. Negative vibes, pessimistic employees. Also, family disputes find their way into the office much too often and employees are dragged in unwillingly. Right now, this is like a place careers go to die. I'd probably rate it lower if I wasn't happy just to have a job in this economy.
