Pros

Pretty nice office set up. Right in Downtown Orlando. Unlimited snacks. Your peers are supportive and friendly.

Cons

When I was recruited for this opportunity it sounded too good to be true and I was right. They pitch the role as an inside sales job in which you are given premium leads and simply have to execute on the process to be successful. This may be true for the channel leads which are only given to a select few consultants. For the rest of the team you have to shift through garbage to find anything decent hoping for a large enough deal to get you to your quota. When you ask management to help they simply tell you to "source your own leads"... Why would you tell me this is an inside sales role if I am sourcing my own prospects? Because of this it's a feast or famine situation where you pray you get the legitimate big business and not the numerous cases of fraudulent attempts or people wanting a credit card. You are not given the tools to execute and the majority of the direct team misses their quota while the Channel team is consistently hitting and exceeding theirs. What's even crazier is the channel team has the same quota and kickers as the direct but they get the real leads. In all my years of sales this place makes zero sense to me. They greatly inflated the OTE as if you don't hit your quota the commissions is chopped in half right off the bat.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We really value your insights and will use this information for our internal processes. It’s unfortunate that you haven’t had a positive experience with us here at Fattmerchant. It’s our goal to always provide our teams with the tools necessary to be successful, and we're always open to hearing about new Sales Enablement solutions to help support the Inside Sales team's efforts and achieve their goals. While we set our sales quotas to be challenging, it’s never our intention to make them impossible to reach. These goals are set based on historical company data, market analysis, and strategic pricing meetings to ensure that everyone is capable of achieving their individual targets with the right processes, effort, skill sets, and attitude. Actually, we had a 90%+ Quota Attainment across all of our team members for the last 4 years. We strive to set our expectations with every sales candidate interview, every new hire training/onboarding session, and continuously throughout the year. One of our core company values is transparency, and we encourage a workplace of direct communication. We would love to arrange a meeting to discuss your concerns openly. Thank you!

They won’t tell us this but they’re getting ready to sell the company

Pros

There are no pros to Stax

Cons

The board has given the directive for the company to become profitable and rather than do this by fixing the problems and listening to employees and customers to gain business they cut people and salaries. This company has a lot of potential but if you read the reviews from its customers you will see why staff is jumping ship. Sales is incentivized to lie to customers to get them to sign up and then the rest of the company has to work twice as hard to cover for it. Sales is rewarded with commission for the work the rest of the company does. Yet neither the sales rep nor the other employees are paid well. When asked about pay growth HRs message is “focus on other reasons you work here, not just the money” If you’re a CardX or APPS employee joining us, I’m sorry for what you are about to experience as we merge together.

Pros

You work alongside a really supportive group of people who very much understand the frustrations you have since they are dealing with them as well. This is one of the only companies I've worked at where I genuinely liked my co-workers.

Cons

The leadership team will make you shake your head and then micromanage you with everything... I'd recommend doing your research on them before accepting any position. If I did, I would have seen their lack of experience in leadership positions at other companies. I highly doubt that any of them would be in management roles at large company.
