Pros

Over the past few years, my experience has been overall positive, especially in terms of flexibility and the support provided during important personal responsibilities. The work environment is generally supportive, and there are opportunities to learn and take ownership. Compared to what I’ve heard from peers in other companies, the flexibility here stands out.

Cons

Like many growing companies, things have evolved over time, and I’ve experienced some differences compared to when I first joined. Certain processes and expectations could benefit from more clarity and consistency.

Pros

Decent place for interns or freshers to start their careers. Yearly offsite. Remote Work/Work from anywhere Work Life Balance is okay

Cons

Lots of micromanagement - every hour is tracked in the sprint process, which gets tiring fast. Very little scope for experienced folks to learn or grow - feels more like a place to just settle. Huge pay differences between devs, and people don’t feel valued. No recognition for good work. Teammates aren’t very helpful, which makes things harder. Perks like WFH benefits and workations have been cut, and might be gone permanently along with other allowances. Many good people have already left, and it’s not hard to see why.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re happy to hear you appreciated our remote-first culture, yearly offsites, and balanced work environment, these are important parts of what make Springworks unique. We’d like to clarify that our sprint and tracking processes are meant to bring structure and transparency in a 100% remote setup, ensuring everyone stays aligned while having full ownership of their work. Growth and learning are a strong focus at Springworks and we encourage cross-team collaborations, skill-building programs, and leadership opportunities to help every team member progress in their career journey. We regularly review compensation structures to maintain fairness and market competitiveness, and our recognition initiatives are designed to celebrate both individual and team achievements. Our leaders continuously engage with employees to ensure feedback is heard, concerns are addressed, and our culture remains open, transparent, and supportive. While some benefits have been streamlined and restructured to maintain long-term compliance and sustainability, our commitment to employee well-being, flexibility, and growth remains stronger than ever. We remain committed to fostering a culture built on trust, transparency, and growth.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve found value in our fully remote culture and the learning opportunities we offer. We also offer flexibility in work hours so our team members can better manage their personal and professional commitments. While some projects may occasionally require extended hours, we work to ensure these are the exception and not the norm. We plan workloads carefully, encourage people to take time off when needed, and maintain transparency so expectations are clear. We’re proud to have diverse teams where different perspectives can be voiced openly. We understand that differences in working styles or communication can sometimes create challenges, and we make it a point to take feedback from various channels and maintain an approachable culture so concerns can be addressed quickly. We are continuously striving towards betterment each day, refining our processes, listening to our people, and working to make Springworks an even more rewarding place to work. Thank you again for your feedback and for your contributions during your time here.
