Pros

Pay Clients Youth Resource Center food pantry group

Cons

Management, specifically the CEO, just shows up for photo ops. Leadership is overworked, which leads to leadership being toxic.c Work workplace is hostile and sucks the life out of the employees. Caseworkers talk badly about the clients they serve and work with. Very disrespectful towards lgbtqia+ community and makes inappropriate comments to those individuals, case managers specifically, who view themselves as Christians. You will be overworked and undervalued. No room for promotion or to grow. You will be micromanaged and then degraded. Management will point out your mistakes and flaws in front of everyone. Be prepared to be talked about in meetings if you make a mistake. The CEO will offer to pay to change reviews, saying it's just bitter employees. Will make rules to discriminate against certain clients. Toxic environment, save yourself the anxiety and stress.

Pros

Close to home and free parking.

Cons

Leadership is vain and doesn't know a thing about running a mental health clinic. They did not deliver clients and did not provide salary with benefits. I coukd say more but at least that clinical director is gone. Millions of dollars are wasted instead of going to client services. I've never seen so much turnover.

Pros

Springboard paid a fair salary, the work was very rewarding, and I considered my clinical supervision to be excellent. There are very passionate staff and there’s a lot of investment from the clients served. It’s a great opportunity to engage in meaningful work while growing a skill set.

Cons

This agency is rooted in very traditional business practices (punching in and out, dress codes, requiring notes for some absences) which isnt necessarily a pro or con, but you could consider how that would fit for you. There is pretty high turnover in part due to high levels of trauma that staff is exposed to. This isn’t necessarily a con either, but I feel this job is a best fit a Christian therapist as there is often prayer and scripture reading in mandatory staff meetings.
