Pros

The people who are hired are young (often fresh out of university) and hungry for success. Not one person (below management) is afraid of hard work. It was a pleasure to get to know such smart and hardworking people.

Cons

Upward mobility. I know what you're thinking. "How is this possible a 'Con'?". But I shall tell you, so listen closely: You enter the company as a fresh-faced college graduate as a junior level position, you make a semi-decent salary, your benefits are abysmal, there is no 401k match and time-off is all "pooled together" (which is corporate speak for 'you get very little'). Fast forward 4 months: You're immediate "team leader" or "manager" has been fired, which consists of a 5pm meeting on a Friday and then POOF, that person is no longer seen or spoken of again. But good news! You're being promoted. There will be a salary raise in "3-4 months" when the company "can afford to do something" (never going to happen). And now you're in charge of projects and tasks you have no business or experience dealing with. But what a gift! A new title, 2 peoples-worth of responsibilities. The joy! Meanwhile, as you drown in work regulated by the FDA, the CEO - Dr. Kingsley R. Chin is investing 85% of his time starting new "companies" that make car accessories, protein powder, public relations marketing... oh and his book. Which you should ALL read (if it ever comes out). I left by the time this baby got off the ground, but rumor has it, that the man who has more shady business dealings than foreign militia outfits, is writing a book on how to succeed in business. Even though his company appears to always be on the brink of failure. Don't worry you'll hear all about how they company is "missing it's targets/sales are down/expenses are too high" and then watch people get axed one-by-one. But that's a good thing! More promotions for you! So, how do you succeed at SpineFontier? Do whatever Kingsley Chin tell you to. Even if it's against what 100's of other medical professionals agree with, even if it makes no fiscal sense, even if it's completely counter to what he told you to do last week. Just keep building, tearing down, rebuilding, spending, firing, hiring, ignoring unpaid bills. All in pursuit of one goal: Making Kingsley Chin more money, more powerful, more famous. Trust me, that's what it's always been about. You don't have to know him well to see it. Also a few more things: - Unpaid vendors - Sexist language/practices from CEO - Poor benefits - No work/life balance - Shady business dealings - Company stock options/bonuses DO NOT EXIST, despite what you're told.

Pros

None. Avoid this place like the plague. There has been a mass exodus for a reason. A no growth, dead end street of nightmares awaits you here.

Cons

Working for Kingsley is the equivalent of working for Henry VIII. Long hours, little pay, bipolar managing style, and no clear sense of direction.

Pros

Free drinks and snacks, great location, and some of the people are really fantastic

Cons

Low pay, management doesn't explain what they want, no problem having you stay late every night and then will make you wait an extra hour to actually present your work to management, terrible training program, the turnover is very high for a reason and the FDA really needs to pay them another surprise visit
