Pros
Honestly, do yourself a favour and find another job. You will hate working here very quickly.
Cons
Rate of pay seems fair, until you calculate the time it will all take. When you are forced to drive for an hour to get to a shoot that you will only receive $100 for, makes no sense at all. You will work longer than 12hours in a day 6+ days a week. They will book your schedule, some days you will end up working from 10am-10pm just for shooting, don't forget you'll have to edit everything that night and do it all over again the next day. The owner asked me to use his gear, and after an accident happened, I was forced to pay for his gear breaking or he was going to take me to court. You work on an island by yourself. It's lonely, boring work.

Pros
I'm overly vocal about any issues I see. Sona always had an open ear to learn about any problems, and would go beyond other companies I've worked for to solve them. There is amazing mentorship from company leadership, which I still lean on today, even years after not being with the business. If you're looking for technical training, the media teams are full of talent and will help you learn the skills you need.
Cons
This is not a typical 9-5 or something with a super consistent schedule, but that's also not what you're signing up for. As a contractor, you do have a ton of flexibility, so you can work (or not work) when you want!
